देवैर्विष्णोः शरणागमनम्—शिवलिङ्गस्थापनं, शिवसहस्रनामस्तवः, सुदर्शनचक्रप्रदानं च
देवं नाम्नां सहस्रेण भवाद्येन महेश्वरम् प्रतिनाम स पद्मेन पूजयामास शङ्करम्
devaṃ nāmnāṃ sahasreṇa bhavādyena maheśvaram pratināma sa padmena pūjayāmāsa śaṅkaram
Dengan seribu nama ilahi—bermula dengan “Bhava”—baginda memuja Mahādeva, Tuhan Yang Maha Agung; bagi setiap nama, dipersembahkan sekuntum teratai, lalu demikianlah Śaṅkara disembah dengan bhakti.
