Shloka 56

उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

यतीनां संहृतिर् न्यासः सिद्धिर् भवति नान्यथा अङ्गन्यासः करन्यासो देहन्यास इति त्रिधा

yatīnāṃ saṃhṛtir nyāsaḥ siddhir bhavati nānyathā aṅganyāsaḥ karanyāso dehanyāsa iti tridhā

Bagi para yati, nyāsa ialah penarikan masuk dan penyatuan semula batin (saṃhṛti) segala daya pancaindera ke dalam Ātman; hanya melalui ini sahaja siddhi terbit, bukan selainnya. Nyāsa ini diajarkan dalam tiga bentuk: aṅga-nyāsa, kara-nyāsa, dan deha-nyāsa.
