देवादिसृष्टिकथनम् (वसिष्ठशोकः, पराशरजन्म, एकलिङ्गपूजा, रुद्रदर्शनम्)

वासिष्ठ उवाच भो वत्स वत्स विप्रेन्द्र पराशर महाद्युते रक्षितो ऽहं त्वया तात गर्भस्थेन महात्मना

vāsiṣṭha uvāca bho vatsa vatsa viprendra parāśara mahādyute rakṣito 'haṃ tvayā tāta garbhasthena mahātmanā

Vasiṣṭha berkata: “Wahai anak kesayanganku—wahai yang terbaik antara brahmana, Parāśara yang bercahaya agung—wahai anakku, aku telah dilindungi olehmu, jiwa besar itu, bahkan ketika engkau masih berada dalam kandungan.”
