FAQs

It emphasizes anugraha (divine grace) accessed through reverence to sanctified representatives of dharma; such humility and prayer are foundational attitudes for fruitful Linga-pūjā.

By invoking “vibhu” (all-pervading lord), it aligns the revered presence with Pati—the sovereign consciousness who sustains embodied life and grants auspicious fruition to the pashu (individual soul).

The implied practice is guru/brāhmaṇa-sevā and prayerful sankalpa—devotional discipline that supports purity (śuddhi) and receptivity to grace, a prerequisite mood for Pāśupata-oriented worship.
