कैकसी मालिनः कन्या तासां वै शृणुत प्रजाः ज्येष्ठं वैश्रवणं तस्मात् सुषुवे देववर्णिनी
kaikasī mālinaḥ kanyā tāsāṃ vai śṛṇuta prajāḥ jyeṣṭhaṃ vaiśravaṇaṃ tasmāt suṣuve devavarṇinī
Kaikasī ialah puteri Mālin; wahai keturunan, dengarlah tentangnya: Devavarṇinī, wanita berseri laksana dewa, melahirkan terlebih dahulu Vaiśravaṇa (Kubera), yang sulung antara putera-puteranya.
