भ्राम्यतस्तस्य रश्मी तु मण्डलेषूत्तरायणे वर्धेते दक्षिणे चैव भ्रमता मण्डलानि तु

Transliteration

bhrāmyatastasya raśmī tu maṇḍaleṣūttarāyaṇe vardhete dakṣiṇe caiva bhramatā maṇḍalāni tu

Translation

Tatkala Matahari beredar, sinarnya bertambah dalam lingkaran-lingkaran pada uttarāyaṇa (perjalanan ke utara); dan pada dakṣiṇāyana (perjalanan ke selatan) juga, lingkaran-lingkaran itu terus berputar menurut tertib peredarannya.
