Shloka 19

स्नानविधिः — गायत्र्यावाहन, सूर्यवन्दन, तर्पण, पञ्चमहायज्ञ, भस्मस्नान, मन्त्रस्नान

पितॄन् उद्दिश्य यद्दत्तं पितृयज्ञः स उच्यते एवं पञ्च महायज्ञान् कुर्यात् सर्वार्थसिद्धये

pitṝn uddiśya yaddattaṃ pitṛyajñaḥ sa ucyate evaṃ pañca mahāyajñān kuryāt sarvārthasiddhaye

Apa jua yang dipersembahkan dengan mengingati para leluhur (Pitṛ) disebut Pitṛ-yajña. Demikianlah, hendaklah seseorang melaksanakan lima Mahā-yajña demi tercapainya segala tujuan—menegakkan dharma dan menyucikan paśu (jiwa terikat) agar layak menerima rahmat Pati, Tuhan Śiva.
