Shloka 16

विष्णुरुवाच—एकाक्षर-प्रणव-लिङ्ग-व्याप्ति-शिवस्तोत्रम्

ऋद्धिशोकविशोकाय पिनाकाय कपर्दिने विपाशाय सुपाशाय नमस्ते पाशनाशिने

ṛddhiśokaviśokāya pinākāya kapardine vipāśāya supāśāya namaste pāśanāśine

Sembah sujud kepada-Mu, yang merupakan kemakmuran itu sendiri, yang menghalau duka dan tidak disentuh duka; kepada Pemegang busur Pināka, kepada Tuhan yang berambut gimbal. Kepada-Nya yang bebas daripada belenggu dan yang jerat-Nya membawa berkat—wahai Pemusnah pāśa, ikatan yang mengikat pashu (jiwa individu).
