Adhyaya 10
Suta Goswami (narrating; reporting Shiva’s statement)
It places bhakti as the decisive cause of spiritual and worldly siddhi—strength and auspicious fortune—implying that Linga-pūjā bears fruit primarily when performed with devotion rather than mere ritual form.
Śiva is presented as Bhava and Pinākin—Pati who teaches that grace is accessed through devotion; his vision of Umā hints at Shiva-tattva as inseparable from Śakti, the dynamic power through which blessings manifest for the pashu (soul).
Bhakti-yukta sādhana is emphasized: devotion as the inner limb that empowers pūjā and Pāśupata-oriented practice by weakening pasha (bondage) and turning the mind toward darśana of Umā-Maheśvara.
