आगर्भसंभवादाद्यात् कार्यं तेनाप्रमादतः / अकुर्वाणस्तु विप्रेन्द्रा भ्रूणहा तु प्रजायते
āgarbhasaṃbhavādādyāt kāryaṃ tenāpramādataḥ / akurvāṇastu viprendrā bhrūṇahā tu prajāyate
Sejak terbitnya kehamilan, hendaklah seseorang dengan penuh waspada melaksanakan kewajipan yang ditetapkan berkaitan dengannya, tanpa kelalaian. Tetapi jika ia tidak melakukannya—wahai yang terbaik di antara para brahmin—dia dianggap sebagai pembunuh janin (bhrūṇahā).
