dinamāsāvavijñātau maraṇasya yadā punaḥ / prasthānadinamāsau tu grāhyau śrāddhe mayoditau
Apabila hari dan bulan kematian seseorang tidak diketahui, maka untuk pelaksanaan Śrāddha hendaklah diambil hari dan bulan ‘keberangkatan’ si mendiang, sebagaimana telah aku nyatakan.
