agnaukaraṇamucchiṣṭaṃ śrāddhaṃ vai vaiśvadaivikam / vikiraṃ ca svadhākāraṃ pitṛśabdaṃ na coccaret

Translation

Persembahan Vaiśvadeva yang berkaitan dengan upacara api dianggap sebagai “lebihan” berbanding śrāddha. Oleh itu, ketika menabur persembahan makanan dan ketika melafazkan “svadhā”, jangan menyebut kata “pitṛs” (leluhur).
