आत्मैव ह्यात्मनो बन्धुरेवं ज्ञात्वा मुहुर्मुहुः / जीवन्नपीति सञ्चिन्त्य स्वीयं हितमनुस्तमरेत्

ātmaiva hyātmano bandhurevaṃ jñātvā muhurmuhuḥ / jīvannapīti sañcintya svīyaṃ hitamanustamaret

Sesungguhnya, diri sendiri sahaja adalah sahabat sejati bagi diri. Mengetahui hal ini berulang-ulang, dan merenung bahawa walau masih hidup pun demikian, hendaklah seseorang tekun menempuh apa yang benar-benar membawa manfaat bagi dirinya.
