Praise of Vṛṣotsarga (Bull-release), Worthy Dāna, and the Procedure for Kṣayāha & Ūrdhva-daihika Rites

अपुत्रो ऽपि विशेषेण क्रियां चैवान्ध्वदौहिकीम् / प्रकुर्यान्मोक्षकामश्च निर्धनश्च विशेषतः

aputro 'pi viśeṣeṇa kriyāṃ caivāndhvadauhikīm / prakuryānmokṣakāmaśca nirdhanaśca viśeṣataḥ

Walaupun seorang lelaki tidak mempunyai anak lelaki, hendaklah ia terutama melaksanakan upacara yang berkaitan dengan perjalanan di jalan selepas kematian serta persembahan kepada leluhur. Dan sesiapa yang mendambakan moksha—lebih-lebih lagi jika miskin—wajib melakukannya dengan perhatian yang khusus.
