गृहीत्वा स्वं विनिर्याति जीवो गर्भ ईवाशयात् / उत्क्रामन्तं स्थितं वापि भुञ्जानं वा गुणान्वितम्

gṛhītvā svaṃ viniryāti jīvo garbha īvāśayāt / utkrāmantaṃ sthitaṃ vāpi bhuñjānaṃ vā guṇānvitam

Dengan mengambil apa yang menjadi miliknya—tubuh halus serta bekalan karmanya—jīva pun keluar, bagaikan janin keluar dari rahim. Ia terlihat sedang berangkat, atau tetap tinggal, atau menikmati (menanggung) pengalaman, dengan disertai guṇa-guṇa.
