एवं स्तुत्वा देवदेवो हरिं च तूष्णीं स्थितः प्राञ्जलिर्नम्रभूर्धा / तदनन्तरजो ब्रह्मा अहङ्कारिक ऊचिवान्

Demikianlah, setelah memuji Hari, Dewa segala dewa berdiri diam, dengan tangan terkatup dan kepala tunduk rendah. Sesudah itu Brahmā, yang lahir kemudian—prinsip ahaṅkāra (keakuan)—pun berkata.
