यस्मादस्य गिरेः पुण्यं माहात्म्यं वेत्ति यः पुमान् / मायावी परमानन्दं त्यक्त्वा वैकुण्ठमुत्तमम् / स्वामिपुष्करिणीतीरे रमया सहमोदते
yasmādasya gireḥ puṇyaṃ māhātmyaṃ vetti yaḥ pumān / māyāvī paramānandaṃ tyaktvā vaikuṇṭhamuttamam / svāmipuṣkariṇītīre ramayā sahamodate
Sesiapa yang mengetahui kemuliaan suci gunung ini—keagungan keramatnya—(dia memahami bahawa) Tuhan Yang Ajaib itu, meskipun meninggalkan Vaikuṇṭha yang tertinggi, puncak kebahagiaan, tetap bersukacita bersama Ramā (Lakṣmī) di tebing tasik suci Tuhan, Svāmipuṣkariṇī.

Concept: Knowing and honoring the kṣetra-māhātmya draws one into the Lord’s accessible presence (saulabhya), where He delights with Lakṣmī for devotees’ sake.

This verse says that understanding the sacred greatness (māhātmya) of the holy mountain is so potent that it is associated with Viṣṇu’s special presence and delight at the tīrtha, highlighting knowledge-and-devotion as a source of merit.
By presenting Viṣṇu as ‘māyāvī’ who even sets aside Vaikuṇṭha to be present at the sacred site with Lakṣmī, the verse elevates bhakti and tīrtha-smarana (recollection of holy places) as direct supports for liberation-oriented devotion.
Study the māhātmya of a sacred Viṣṇu-tīrtha, remember it with faith, and pair that knowledge with simple devotion—nāma-japa, stotra, and respectful pilgrimage—treating holy places as opportunities for inner purification.
