पीठस्योर्ध्वं नैरृतस्योर्ध्वकोणे ज्ञानाधिपं प्रणमेद्वायुदेवम् / पीठस्योर्ध्वं वायुकोणे च सुभ्रूर्वैराग्यानामधिपं चैव रुद्रम्

pīṭhasyordhvaṃ nairṛtasyordhvakoṇe jñānādhipaṃ praṇamedvāyudevam / pīṭhasyordhvaṃ vāyukoṇe ca subhrūrvairāgyānāmadhipaṃ caiva rudram

Di atas pīṭha, pada sudut tinggi bahagian barat daya (Nairṛta), hendaklah bersujud kepada Vāyu-deva, penguasa pengetahuan rohani. Dan di atas pīṭha, pada sudut barat laut (Vāyu-koṇa), wahai yang bermata-bening, hendaklah juga bersujud kepada Rudra, penguasa vairāgya (ketidaklekatan).
