FAQs

The verse prescribes disciplined reverence (namaskāra) to specific names of Vishnu, indicating a structured devotional practice where divine epithets are honored as forms of the same Supreme.

It reflects a directional ritual mapping used in Purāṇic worship, where particular directions are associated with specific divine forms; here, Dāmodara is to be saluted in the north‑east.

Maintain consistency and attentiveness in prayer—offer respectful salutations to Vishnu (by meaningful names) and follow a simple, disciplined routine rather than performing worship carelessly.
