न वै ज्ञानीत्यन्तरं यो न वेद स वेदवादी न च वेदपाठकः

na vai jñānītyantaraṃ yo na veda sa vedavādī na ca vedapāṭhakaḥ

Sesiapa yang tidak memahami perbezaan batin tentang makna menjadi “orang yang benar-benar mengetahui”, dia bukanlah pentafsir Veda yang sejati dan bukan pula pembaca Veda yang sebenar.
