Sesudah itu Hari—Viṣṇu sendiri—menjelma dalam rupa Kṛṣṇa, lahir daripada Devakī melalui Vasudeva. Dengan tekad yang besar untuk membunuh Kaṃsa dan yang seumpamanya, Baginda juga melindungi para Pāṇḍava dengan sempurna, wahai yang terbaik antara burung.
