This verse states that in Kali-yuga the Bhāgavata Purāṇa is the principal and most welfare-giving Purāṇa for human beings, being especially dear to Hari.
By prioritizing Hari-centered Purāṇas and naming the Bhāgavata as foremost in Kali-yuga, it directs practitioners toward devotion (bhakti) and scripture that most effectively supports liberation and well-being in this age.
Regularly study or listen to Bhāgavata teachings, cultivate devotion to Viṣṇu/Hari, and align daily conduct with dharma through satsanga, nāma-japa, and ethical living.
