भूमिदानस्य तपसः स्वाध्यायफलभाग्द्विजः / नेष्ठिको ब्रह्मचारी तु वसेदाचार्यसन्निधौ

bhūmidānasya tapasaḥ svādhyāyaphalabhāgdvijaḥ / neṣṭhiko brahmacārī tu vasedācāryasannidhau

Seorang dvija (dua kali lahir) patut mengambil bahagian daripada pahala yang lahir daripada sedekah tanah, daripada tapa (pertapaan), dan daripada buah svādhyāya (telaah Veda). Dan sebagai brahmacārī yang teguh, hendaklah dia tinggal dekat di sisi ācārya (gurunya).
