Gayā-yātrā-vidhi: Multi-day Śrāddha Route, Pitṛ-devatās, and Akṣaya Merit at Gayā

गृहाच्चलितमात्रस्य गयायां गमनं प्रति / स्वर्गारोहणसोपानं पितॄणां तु पदेपदे

gṛhāccalitamātrasya gayāyāṃ gamanaṃ prati / svargārohaṇasopānaṃ pitṝṇāṃ tu padepade

Bagi seseorang yang baru sahaja melangkah keluar dari rumah dengan niat menuju ke Gayā, pada setiap langkah itu menjadi tangga bagi para Pitṛ (leluhur) untuk naik ke syurga.
