Seseorang akan mencapai alam-alam yang tidak binasa dan turut mengangkat serta menyelamatkan keturunannya. Apabila Sandhyā (ibadat senja) dilakukan dengan bacaan Sāvitrī (Gāyatrī), dikatakan pahalanya menyamai Sandhyā yang dilakukan selama dua belas tahun.
