इदमापः प्रवहतव्याहृतिभिस्तथैव च / ततो ऽभिमन्त्रितं तोपमापो हिष्ठादिमन्त्रकैः
idamāpaḥ pravahatavyāhṛtibhistathaiva ca / tato 'bhimantritaṃ topamāpo hiṣṭhādimantrakaiḥ
Air ini hendaklah dicurahkan sambil melafazkan vyāhṛti yang suci. Sesudah itu, air tersebut hendaklah diabhimantrakan (disucikan dengan mantra) melalui bacaan mantra yang bermula dengan «Āpo hi ṣṭhā…» serta mantra-mantra air yang berkaitan.
