ॐ आं हृदर्काय च शिरः शिखा च भूर्भुवः स्वरोम् / ज्वालिनीं ह्रं कवचस्य चास्त्रं राज्ञां च दीक्षिताम्
oṃ āṃ hṛdarkāya ca śiraḥ śikhā ca bhūrbhuvaḥ svarom / jvālinīṃ hraṃ kavacasya cāstraṃ rājñāṃ ca dīkṣitām
(Hendaklah dibaca) “Oṃ, āṃ”—bagi hati dan sinar batin laksana Surya; bagi kepala dan jambul; serukan ucapan suci “bhūr-bhuvaḥ-svaḥ”; kemudian “hrom”. Serulah kuasa menyala “Jvālinī”, dan “hraṃ” sebagai kavaca (perisai pelindung) serta sebagai astra (senjata)—demikianlah untuk mendikṣā dan melindungi raja-raja yang bakal ditahbiskan.
