Prāyaścitta for Food-Contact, Social Contact, Aśauca Periods, and Formal Penance Systems
स्त्रीरजः पतितं मध्ये त्रिंशत्कुम्भान्समुद्धरेत् / अगम्यागमनं कृत्वा मद्यगोमांसभक्षणम्
strīrajaḥ patitaṃ madhye triṃśatkumbhānsamuddharet / agamyāgamanaṃ kṛtvā madyagomāṃsabhakṣaṇam
Jika seseorang menyebabkan darah haid seorang wanita jatuh ke tengah-tengah sesuatu yang patut dipelihara kesuciannya, hendaklah dikeluarkan (dan dibuang) tiga puluh tempayan (bahagian yang terjejas). Demikian juga, orang yang bersetubuh dengan wanita yang terlarang, serta yang meminum arak dan memakan daging lembu, dikira melakukan dosa berat yang memerlukan penebusan (prāyaścitta).
