Snāna-Śauca Krama: Varuṇa–Āpaḥ Mantras, Aghamarṣaṇa, Sūrya-Upasthāna, and Sarva-Tarpaṇa
चित्पतिर्मेति च शनैः प्लाव्यात्मनं समाहितः / हिरण्यवर्णा इति च पावमान्यस्तथा पराः
citpatirmeti ca śanaiḥ plāvyātmanaṃ samāhitaḥ / hiraṇyavarṇā iti ca pāvamānyastathā parāḥ
Dengan minda yang terhimpun, seseorang hendaklah merendam diri dengan lembut (meneguhkan diri) sambil mengulang perlahan: “Citpati” (Tuan Kesedaran). Hendaklah juga dibaca himne-himne Pāvamānī yang menyucikan, seperti “Hiraṇyavarṇā” (berwarna keemasan), serta mantera-mantera suci yang lain.
