Lord Vishnu (in instruction to Garuda/Vainateya)
Concept: Nyāsa aligns tattvas and bhūtas within the practitioner, transforming the body into a sanctified vessel and stabilizing awareness.
Vedantic Theme: Microcosm–macrocosm correspondence (piṇḍa–brahmāṇḍa) and purification of the antaḥkaraṇa through disciplined upāsanā.
Application: Perform tattva-nyāsa sequentially on finger-joints, then re-place bhūtas and Śivāṅgas with steady attention; treat each placement as a mindful reset of body and breath.
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
Type: ritual-space

This verse frames nyāsa as an ordered inner consecration—placing tattvas, elements, and Śiva’s limbs onto the body—so the practitioner becomes ritually purified and protected for subsequent worship or rites.
By emphasizing tattva-nyāsa and bhūta-nyāsa, the verse points to subtle-body purification: aligning the practitioner’s inner principles and elemental constitution before undertaking serious rites, including those traditionally associated with protection and transition (saṃskāra-oriented contexts).
Even without full ritual detail, the takeaway is disciplined sequencing: prepare the mind-body system step-by-step (breath, intention, purification) before any sacred act, rather than acting casually or in haste.
