FAQs

This verse frames the teaching with Viṣṇu as the supreme support and source of the cosmos, making the discourse spiritually authoritative and aligning the listener with dharma through remembrance of the Lord.

By declaring that all existence arises from and rests in the Supreme, it sets a metaphysical foundation for the soul’s post-death journey—ultimately, the jīva’s refuge and final ground is the Divine, beyond transient states.

Begin study, prayer, and especially rites for the departed with sincere remembrance of Viṣṇu, cultivating steadiness and ethical living grounded in the awareness that life and death unfold within a higher cosmic order.
