Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.189 (doṣa/roga-specific formulations)
This verse shows that the Garuda Purana also preserves practical therapeutic guidance, presenting simple formulations to pacify complex vāta conditions associated with blood (raktavāta).
It does not directly discuss the afterlife; instead, it supports dharmic living by maintaining bodily health, which is treated as a prerequisite for performing rites and duties taught elsewhere in the Purana.
As a traditional reference, it points to diet-based remedies for vāta-blood imbalance; in modern practice, use it as historical guidance and consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before applying such formulations.
