Lord Vishnu (in discourse to Garuda/Vinata-putra)

Vedantic Theme: Harmony of prāṇa and mind through bodily balance; sattva fostered by proper nourishment.
Application: Prepare ghṛta cooked with kaṇṭakārī and guḍūcī juices (specified measures) for cough and digestive kindling; use cautiously with attention to digestion and contraindications.
Primary Rasa: shanta
Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.170 (ghṛta preparations; kāsa and dīpana indications)
The verse presents ghṛta as a classical Ayurvedic carrier that delivers herbs like kaṇṭakārī and guḍūcī to relieve cough while supporting agni (digestion) and the chest region.
It does not describe the soul’s journey; it is a practical medical instruction embedded in Vishnu’s teaching to Garuda.
It points to an herb-infused ghee approach for respiratory and digestive support; because dosage and preparation depend on constitution and condition, consult an Ayurvedic clinician.
