FAQs

Here pañcagavya is presented as a wholesome classical formulation used for serious neuro-psychosomatic conditions like apasmāra and graha-type afflictions, reflecting the text’s therapeutic tradition.

By addressing graha-like disturbances and seizure conditions, it underscores the Purana’s concern for restoring steadiness (sattva) so a person can maintain dharma, clarity, and ritual competence.

It points to traditional formulations (pañcagavya, ash-gourd juice, ghee with licorice) historically used for such complaints; modern application should be supervised by qualified clinicians.
