Application: Use pacana first in fever: administer dry ginger, devakāṣṭha, coriander, and the two bṛhatīs as a digestive preparation before other measures.
Primary Rasa: shanta
Type: household/vaidya setting
Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.170 (Ayurveda/vaidya section on jvara-cikitsā)
It implies fever management begins by correcting digestion/metabolic disturbance, using a pācana formula before other measures.
Nāgara (dry ginger), devakāṣṭha, dhānyāka (coriander), and bṛhatī-dvaya (the two bṛhatīs).
It supports the idea that digestive support can be important during fever; however, herbs should be used responsibly and with medical guidance, especially in high fever.
