Anupāna and the Doṣa-Effects of Foods, Waters, Dairy, Oils, and Preparations

रक्तपित्तकरास्तीक्ष्णास्तथा सौवीरजातयः / पाचनो दीपनः पथ्यो मण्डः स्याद्भृष्टतण्डुलः

raktapittakarāstīkṣṇāstathā sauvīrajātayaḥ / pācano dīpanaḥ pathyo maṇḍaḥ syādbhṛṣṭataṇḍulaḥ

Pelbagai jenis sauvīra (minuman peraman) bersifat tajam dan cenderung menimbulkan gangguan pendarahan serta pitta. Namun maṇḍa, iaitu air bubur daripada beras sangai, membantu pencernaan, menyalakan selera, dan baik lagi sesuai.
