FAQs

This verse states that honoring the deities associated with the lunar days (tithis) yields both bhukti (worldly well-being) and mukti (liberation), presenting tithi-observance as a complete dharmic discipline.

It links disciplined ritual observance to inner purification and divine grace—framing regular dharma (here, tithi worship) as supportive of the ultimate goal of moksha, not merely material gains.

Keep a simple tithi-based practice: on Pratipadā, offer a lamp or oblation to Agni and remember the Aśvins with a short prayer, aligning daily life with dharma while seeking both well-being and spiritual freedom.
