Anak perempuannya bernama Vijayā, dan Dhanapāla telah menjadi seekor lembu jantan. Membawa lembu itu bersamanya, Kauśika pergi ke Sungai Gaṅgā pada musim panas dan tinggal di sana, bersukacita dalam laku nazarnya.
