पर्णोदुम्बरराजीवबील्वपत्रकुशोदकैः / प्रत्येकं प्रत्यहाभ्यस्तैः पर्ण कृच्छ्र उदाहृतः

Amalan yang disebut “parṇa-kṛcchra” (tapa daun) dinyatakan begini: hari demi hari seseorang mengambil satu bahagian makanan sahaja, terdiri daripada daun palāśa, udumbara, teratai, dan bilva, beserta air yang disucikan dengan rumput kuśa.
