नित्यस्नायी च गङ्‌गायां स पूतः सूर्यवद्‌भुवि । पदे पदेऽश्वमेधस्य लभते निश्चितं फलम्

nityasnāyī ca gaṅgāyāṃ sa pūtaḥ sūryavadbhuvi | pade pade'śvamedhasya labhate niścitaṃ phalam

Seseorang yang mandi setiap hari di Ganga menjadi semurni Matahari di bumi. Pada setiap langkah, dia pasti memperoleh pahala daripada pengorbanan Ashvamedha.
