Nābhāga’s Inheritance, Śiva’s Verdict, and the Rise of Ambarīṣa—Prelude to Durvāsā’s Offense
This verse models steadiness and dharma: even when rejected by brothers, one should not become bitter, but continue honoring rightful duties and elders’ intentions.
She reassures him that the situation is not a personal failure; elders had sanctioned and desired the match/decision, so he should remain composed and act righteously.
When facing family conflict, avoid resentment, stay respectful in duty, and keep emotional balance—respond with integrity rather than retaliation.
