पञ्चाशीतिसहस्राणि ह्यव्याहतबल: समा: । अनष्टवित्तस्मरणो बुभुजेऽक्षय्यषड्वसु ॥ २६ ॥
pañcāśīti sahasrāṇi hy avyāhata-balaḥ samāḥ anaṣṭa-vitta-smaraṇo bubhuje ’kṣayya-ṣaḍ-vasu
Selama lapan puluh lima ribu tahun, baginda menikmati kemewahan duniawi dengan kekuatan tubuh yang tidak terhalang dan ingatan yang utuh; yakni kenikmatan yang tidak habis melalui enam indera.
This verse describes prolonged enjoyment with undiminished strength and inexhaustible wealth, yet in the Bhagavatam’s broader message such enjoyment still remains within material time and does not grant lasting fulfillment to the soul.

Even extraordinary resources and vitality can keep one bound to enjoyment; the practical lesson is to cultivate vairāgya (detachment) and redirect life’s energy toward bhakti, which yields lasting inner satisfaction.
