Continuation and Future of the Sūrya-vaṁśa: From Kuśa to the Last Ikṣvāku King
तस्मात् प्रसुश्रुतस्तस्य सन्धिस्तस्याप्यमर्षण: । महस्वांस्तत्सुतस्तस्माद् विश्वबाहुरजायत ॥ ७ ॥
tasmāt prasuśrutas tasya sandhis tasyāpy amarṣaṇaḥ mahasvāṁs tat-sutas tasmād viśvabāhur ajāyata
Daripada Maru lahir seorang putera bernama Prasuśruta; daripada Prasuśruta lahir Sandhi, dan daripada Sandhi lahir Amarṣaṇa. Daripada Amarṣaṇa lahir putera bernama Mahasvān; daripada Mahasvān lahir Viśvabāhu.
They are successive kings in the solar (Ikṣvāku) dynasty, listed by Śukadeva Gosvāmī as part of the descendants of Lord Rāma’s line through Kuśa.
