The Earth Laughs at World-Conquering Kings; Yuga-Dharma and the Remedy for Kali

This verse states that the dying should meditate on Bhagavān, the Supreme Controller, and because He is the soul and shelter of all, He leads the devotee into His own spiritual state.
In the Bhagavatam’s liberation teaching, the final absorption of consciousness is crucial; Śukadeva highlights that focusing on the all-sheltering Lord brings the soul to the Lord’s own divine condition rather than material rebirth.
Practice steady smaraṇa through nāma-japa (chanting), hearing/reading Bhagavatam, and dedicating actions to the Lord—so remembrance becomes natural even in difficult moments.
