Kali-yuga’s Degradation, the Advent of Kalki, and the Reset of the Yuga Cycle
This verse states that when Lord Kṛṣṇa—the radiant light of Bhagavān Viṣṇu—departed, Kali entered the world because people had begun to delight in sinful life.
Śukadeva explains that Kali gains access where adharma increases—when people become attracted to pāpa (sin), the conditions for Kali-yuga’s influence manifest.
Reduce voluntary sinful habits and increase sāttvika living and bhakti—especially remembrance of Kṛṣṇa—so that Kali’s influence weakens in one’s personal life.
