सोऽपश्यत्तत्र महतीं कन्यां वीरमनोहराम् । प्रीत्युत्फुल्लेक्षणस्तस्यां भावक्षुब्धं मनो दधे ॥ ६ ॥
so ’paśyat tatra mahatīṁ kanyāṁ vīra-mano-harām prīty-utphullekṣaṇas tasyāṁ bhāva-kṣubdhaṁ mano dadhe
Di sana dia melihat Subhadrā, gadis mulia yang memikat para pahlawan. Matanya terbuka berseri kerana sukacita, dan hatinya bergoncang oleh rasa cinta lalu tertumpu kepadanya.
