FAQs

This verse shows Kuntī recognizing Kṛṣṇa as the Lord of the three worlds and expressing her devotion through joyful, intimate affection—rising to welcome and embrace Him.

Because Kṛṣṇa was her beloved nephew and also the Supreme Lord; overwhelmed with love and gratitude, she rose from her couch and embraced Him along with her daughters-in-law.

Welcome the Divine with heartfelt warmth—through respectful reception, remembrance, and loving service—rather than only formal or distant religiosity.
