Kṛṣṇa’s Daily Life in Dvārakā; the Captive Kings’ Appeal; Nārada Announces the Rājasūya
Thus end the purports of the humble servants of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda to the Tenth Canto, Seventieth Chapter, of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, entitled “Lord Kṛṣṇa’s Daily Activities.”
This verse shows the ideal mood: a devotee receives the Lord’s order with utmost reverence—“placing it on the head”—and responds in service, even if feeling unqualified or overwhelmed.
Kṛṣṇa knows everything, yet His devotee may feel humble and astonished at the responsibility of divine service; Uddhava’s ‘bewilderment’ expresses modesty and deep reverence, not ignorance.
Approach duties—especially spiritual commitments—with humility, accept guidance respectfully, and respond with responsible action rather than ego or hesitation.
