Utthāna Ceremony, Śakaṭa-bhañga, Tṛṇāvarta-vadha, and the Vision of the Universe in Kṛṣṇa’s Mouth
This verse describes how Yaśodā, the Vraja women, and Nanda were astonished and could not understand how the cart overturned on its own—highlighting the hidden divine protection surrounding child Kṛṣṇa.
Because they witnessed an unnatural, wondrous event and—being simple Vraja devotees—did not immediately attribute it to Kṛṣṇa’s divine power, instead wondering how it could happen “by itself.”
It encourages faith that unseen grace can protect and uplift devotees, even when events appear inexplicable—inviting humility and remembrance of the Divine rather than anxiety.
