Kṛṣṇa Defeats Bāṇāsura and Receives Śiva’s Prayers
The Śoṇitapura Battle and the Jvara Episode
This verse shows that Krishna’s extraordinary pastimes draw even the highest celestial authorities; they come in vimānas simply to behold the Supreme Lord and witness His divine acts.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī narrates this description to Mahārāja Parīkṣit while recounting the events of Canto 10, Chapter 63.
It highlights the priority of darśana—seeking the Lord’s presence—encouraging devotees to make time for hearing, chanting, and visiting sacred worship as the central focus of life.
